Would you believe me if I told you I have never watched a full football game until this season? Yep. Guilty. I could never get into the game or understand it. I love baseball and basketball but football is definitely a new sport for me to love! I covered various East Valley teams/high schools for The East Valley Tribune, The San Tan Sun News and Ahwatukee Foothills News. I started with covering their practices up to this last week. It took me a bit to get into the groove of photographing and had help from others out on the field & made some new friends in the sports photography world! I covered a lot of Desert Vista; so much that even though I didn't go to high school there, I felt the team spirit following them a lot through the season. Such a great group of gentlemen! I also had the pleasure of covering one of the games at Highland High School, where I graduated from! During the game, the school and alumni honored a fellow classmate. All in all, it was a great experience and ready for next year!
